Gek Poh Ville Community Club started as a small void deck Community Centre. On 1 June 1996 at Block 749, Jurong West Street 73 providing basic facilities such as an office, a conference room, a dance studio, a home craft room and three classrooms. The Management Committee at that time also formed 4 sub-committee, Indian Activity Executive Committee and Malay Activity Group, to reach out to more residents.
